I work with clients to help relieve distress, deepen their understanding of themselves and their current situation, and work towards desired change. Together, we explore current feelings, thoughts, behaviours, and patterns of interactions with others. Through the process of therapy, you can develop your emotional and practical coping strategies, deepen your psychological and emotional wellbeing and gain confidence to make life enhancing changes.

I’m a fully registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and an Associate Member of the Counselling College of the APS.
I have a Masters in Psychology (Counselling), along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology. In addition, I have certification in Coaching accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
I have completed additional training in several therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Time-limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Critical Incident Debriefing.
I have over 15 years of experience providing psychological support, coaching and counselling services within many settings including schools, community services, crisis support, private and not for profit organisations, consultancies, Employee Assistance Programs, and in rural and remote areas.
Having worked extensively within management, business partnership and consultancy roles, I’ve coached staff and managers, and facilitated team development sessions to provide insight into communication, culture and team dynamics.
I have also spent several years working with Indigenous communities in the East Kimberley, Western Australia.
My interests in psychology extend to many areas and I have conducted research in several fields including attachment, emotional regulation, and mindfulness. Most recently I’ve published research on a pilot program teaching mindfulness skills to children in schools across Victoria.
In addition, I have delivered numerous seminars on health and wellbeing topics, and facilitated workshops on resilience, assertiveness, and leadership and management skills.
As well as providing individual therapy, I offer supervision to counsellors and psychologists working in a variety of therapeutic and crisis support service areas.
